We headed over to Dublin for DattoCon Europe 2025, and it didn’t disappoint. Loads of MSPs, great sessions, and a real buzz around what’s coming next in the world of IT services.

The main focus was on making things easier for MSPs whether that’s through better security, smarter automation, or tools that save time and hassle. Kaseya’s new CEO, Rania Succar, kicked things off with some big announcements—like a €100 million investment in EMEA and a push to bring more dev talent into the region. That’s good news for all of us.
We saw some solid updates too: Datto EDR now built into Datto AV, and a new SIEM tool designed specifically for MSPs.
What stood out most was the chance to connect with other partners, swap ideas, and hear how others are tackling the same challenges we are. The Kaseya team made us feel really welcome, and it was great to spend time in Dublin, a place that’s starting to feel like part of our story
Back at Layer 4, our helpdesk is now powered by the latest AI technologies. This means our engineers can quickly look back at previous fixes, spot patterns, and deliver faster, smarter support, making the experience better for our customers every time.
We came back with a few new ideas, a few new contacts, and a lot of energy. If you want to hear more about what we saw, or how it might help your business, give us a shout.
